To be fair though, the prices did undercut most high street retailers and the delivery went without a hitch. - Jack W. Review 2 - Posted Jan 2005: I ordered a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner from 24 7 recently. Once the order was placed online, I needed to ask them a question about delivery. After having been put on hold twice for 15 minutes or more (while I was at work!), I eventually got through. The representative was completely disinterested and couldn't find my order. I then emailed them twice and I have still not had a reply. I subsequently cancelled my order and got it online through Comet with no problem at all. They even specify a delivery date and time. Review 3 - Posted Nov 2004: I ordered a fridge on 16/11. The website says they provide a delivery schedule which they did not. A courier arrived with the fridge while I was out on 19/11. On 22/11 my order is still shown as in progress. I subsequently found it was damaged in 2 places - not evident until it was unpacked. I have sent 2 x emails and 3 faxes and tried calling their VERY EXPENSIVE 0700 number which is either engaged or connects to what purports to be a queue with canned music that goes on forever - at over 7p a minute. My advice - don't touch them with a bargepole. Review 4 - Posted Jan 2005: I found the contact details for a director of 247 electrical on and contacted him about the problems I experienced. I have to say that he acted honourably and sorted out the problem. Review 5 - Posted Mar 2006: Cannot understand why people knock this company. Ordered 42" Plasma Tv Saturday afternoon asking for Interest Free Credit. Credit application approved on Tuesday, Tv Despatched Thursday and received by me Monday, just 9 days after placing order. The major chains, (Comet, Currys, Dixons) are out of stock and unable to accept orders for the same model TV. Highly recommended. Would use again.
